SVG Goo Configurator

I had so much fun with Goo last week that I decided to explore a bit deeper.

I found that playing with the last 2 numbers in the <feColorMatrix> values produced some very interesting results. I created a Goo Configurator with easy to use input sliders to make it very easy to experiment.

In the video I cover:

  • How the drippy goo artwork was made in Boxy SVG
  • Why I call the new values alpha4 and alpha5
  • Where the sliders came from
  • Basic code overview of the tool
  • How to export the filter settings and paste into your own files
  • How to import your own SVG into the configurator.

As always, there's lots to see in the whole video. Enjoy!
